Mehr dazu entnehmen Sie der Ausschreibung auf englisch. 14TH INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF ANCIENT GREEK DRAMA 2010 We would like to inform you about the 14th International Festival of Ancient Greek Drama that the Cyprus Centre of the International Theatre Institute in co-operation with the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Cyprus Tourism Organization organizes from the 1st until the 31st of July 2010, as in every year in Cyprus. We welcome international theatre groups who have productions of ancient Greek plays (tragedies/comedies) of the original (the performer’s language) - (NOT ADAPTATIONS) to submit their works to the Festival Selection Committee of the Cyprus ITI at the latest by the end of December 2009/Beginning of January 2010. The festival is held at the following venues: Paphos Ancient Odeon, Curium Ancient Theatre (Limassol) and Makarios III Amphitheatre (Nicosia). Each participating company receives a certain amount of money, agreed beforehand between the Organising Committee and the company itself. A relevant contract is signed between the two sides. The participating company may be asked to give two or three performances (Paphos, Limassol, Nicosia). In their application packages the theatre companies are requested to include the following materials and information: Title of the play Duration of the play Theatre company profile The director's CV Cast list Actors CV Total number of the theatre company's members (including actors, technicians, etc) Screener DVD of the performance Flyers and photos of the performance.
