This year’s message for World Dance Day, which is celebrated worldwide on 29 April, comes from Chinese dancer and choreographer Yang Liping.

With her message, the award-winning dancer invites all dancers and choreographers worldwide to strengthen the connection and dialogue with the earth and nature through dance and thus honour “humanity’s most instinctive form of communication”.
