The ITI Academy’s kick-off weekend took place on December 3rd and 4th, 2021 in digital form. Transnational and global artists, experts from science, culture, and politics analyzed and discussed the future of international festivals and transnational collaborations together.

Trend-setting ideas and impulses for future events of the ITI Academy emerged. The keynote from Dr. Nicola Scherer, followed by a panel, and the conversation about “Theater der Welt 2023” with the two program directors Chiaki Soma and Kyoko Iwaki are still on the German ITI YouTube channel.
